The Scientific and Technical Center Rosseti FGC UES and ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC have exchanged files with a memorandum of understanding at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The document is aimed at establishing a long-term strategic cooperation for the development of network complexes of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Russian Federation, and third countries.
Vladimir Kharitonov, Director General of the Scientific and Technical Center of Rosseti FGC UES, and Yasser Mustafa, Minister Plenipotentiary of Commerce, the Head of the Commercial Department of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Russia, have attended the ceremony.
The parties will consider the possibility of joint work on the projects related to construction and upgrade of power grid facilities of the Arab Republic of Egypt and third countries, including the projects of interstate power transmission lines, as well as the schemes for large-scale power generation capacity.
The parties expect to cooperate on the issues of development and application of innovative technologies, and certification and testing of electrical equipment.
