Rosseti Group Identified 32 New R&D Topics for 2022–2024 29.09.2021

The topics have been selected by the experts from the company and its subsidiaries, including the employees of specialized R&D organizations — Rosseti Scientific and Technical Center (which is a single center of competence in the formation of the R&D program) and the Scientific and Technical Center of Rosseti FGC UES. In total, about 260 initial applications were received.

The approved topics cover the entire range of interests of the Rosseti Group: from the design and operation of network facilities to the use of digital solutions. Thus, the proposed studies related to:

  • the use of Industry 4.0 technologies at power facilities;
  • the development of customer service;
  • ensuring cybersecurity.

The total number of approved R&D topics (taking into account the proposals approved in 2020) increased up to 42. The full list is published on the official website of PJSC Rosseti.

R&D is one of the main areas of innovative development of the Rosseti Group. In 2020, the volume of R&D funding amounted to more than 1.7 billion rubles. The program includes 92 projects (61 of the distribution complex companies, 31 of Rosseti FGC UES); 13 R&D results were brought into pilot production, and 18 were implemented at the Group's facilities.

In accordance with the current regulations, the Rosseti Group of Companies will select new topics from the list of approved topics for inclusion in the R&D plan. Following the results of procurement procedures, a consolidated program will be developed for 2022–2024.
