Andrey Ryumin, Rosseti Director General, and Alexander Gusev, Governor of Voronezh Region, had a working meeting. The agenda comprised tariff regulation and investment plans, including those related to the connection of new residential complexes.
In 2020, Rosseti allocated 2.6 bln rubles to develop the Voronezh Region's transmission and distribution grids. A key event was the commissioning of the highly automated 110 kV Sputnik Substation (80 MVA), which ensured high reliability of power supply to the northern districts of Voronezh (population - over 270,000 people).
The approved investment for 2021-2025 is more than 20.8 bln rubles. There are plans to complete the reconstruction of 220 kV Yuzhnaya Main Substation, which is one of the main power centres in the region. As a result of the project, the power equipment at the site will be completely renewed and its capacity will increase by 60 MVA to 590 MVA. The application of a modern automated control system and microprocessor-based relay protection systems will make the new Yuzhnaya Substation highly reliable and low-maintenance.
