Interregional distribution grid company of the South (IDGC of the South PJSC) is responsible for transport of electric energy across 110kV and lower networks in four regions of the Russian Federation: Rostov, Astrakhan and Volgograd regions and the Republic of Kalmykia.
IDGC of the South operates in area of 335 thousand square kilometres and ensures electricity gets to the homes and businesses of about 8.1 million customers. The Company’s distribution network consists of: over 1 220 substations of 35-220kV with total capacity of 18 710MVA and 30 172 transformer substations of 6, 10/0.4kV with total capacity of 5 000MVA and 157 970 kilometres of power lines.
