Rosseti, Public Joint Stock Company (PJSC ROSSETI) – an operator of energy grids in Russia, is one of the largest electric companies in the world. The company maintains 2.37 million km of power transmission lines, 517,000 substations with transformer capacity of more than 802 GW. In 2019, net power supply to consumers amounted to 763 billion kWh. The number of employees of the Rosseti Group of Companies is 217,500 people.
The asset portfolio of PJSC ROSSETI includes 35 subsidiaries and affiliates, including 15 interregional and a main network company. The controlling shareholder of the company is the state represented by the Federal Agency for State Property Management of the Russian Federation, which owns 88.04% of the share capital.

The company pays great attention to such issues as energy conservation, energy efficiency, international cooperation, environmental protection and occupational safety.
In order to ensure a uniform approach to the implementation of technical policy and management principles to grid complexes of the Russian Federation, to carry out a unified investment, financial, economic and human resources policy, on November 22, 2012, the President of the Russian Federation signed the Decree No.1567 “About Open Joint Stock Companies ”Russian Grids".
The aim of structural reforms on the combination of main and distribution power networks is to create a single point of responsibility to shareholders, coordinate economic efficiency of investment activity, develop uniform standards and indicators of quality, improve operational efficiency of the power grid enterprise complex of PJSC Rosseti.
Pursuant to the decree, and in accordance with the decision of the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on March 23, 2013, IDGC Holding JSC, was officially renamed Joint Stock Company Russian Grids. The corresponding amendments to the charter of the company were registered on April 4, 2013, by the Inter-district Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, No. 46, in Moscow, and entered into the relevant record of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRLE).
Following the RF Civil Code changes, on June 30, 2015 shareholders approved restated charter which contains the Company’s new trade name with alterations regarding organizational and legal form. Interdistrict inspectorate of Federal Tax Service of Russia registered new edition of the Charter of the Company of Moscow No. 46 on July 17, 2015. The corresponding record was made in the unified state register of legal entities.
