10.01.2020 During New Year Holidays, Rosseti Experienced no Serious Power System Disturbance in the Main Grid

The Rosseti Group summed up the results of the work of the electric grid complex on holidays and weekends in 2020. Despite the unfavorable meteorological conditions in a number of regions, over the period of January 1-8, 2020, there was no significant power system disturbance in the operation of the main grid of 35 kV and above, which could cause long interruptions in the supply of electricity to consumers.

On December 18, 2019, the Rosseti Group commissioned several modern power facilities in Irkutsk and Tyumen Oblast, that significantly increase the systemic reliability of power supply to consumers in several regions of Ural, Siberian and Far Eastern Okrug and provide the stock of transformer power necessary for further socio-economic development of these territories.

Non-Profit Partnership ‘Russian Institute of Directors’ once again confirmed the rating of the corporate governance of Rosseti at the level of 7++ ‘Developed Corporate Governance Practice’. These results confirm that the company complies with the requirements of the Russian legislation in the field of corporate governance and follows a significant number of recommendations of the Russian Corporate Governance Code.
