Investments are planned for this year. This was agreed by Alexander Beglov, Governor of St. Petersburg, and Andrey Ryumin, Acting Director General of PJSC Rosseti, during a working meeting held today in Smolny. The Head of the city and the Head of the company discussed the work deliverables of the distribution grid complex in St. Petersburg.
During the meeting dedicated to electricity and gas supply of the Republic of Dagestan, held today in Makhachkala, Sergey Melikov thanked the management and employees of Rosseti: “You promptly respond to any power outages in our region. What is more, quite often you have to restore not only your sections of power grids, but also those that belong to municipalities or are completely ownerless".
The idea of GlobalDSO came about in 2020 when the industry faced unprecedented challenges. It became obvious that close contact of colleagues from different countries was needed for prompt consultations and experience exchange. The project is meant to facilitate the strategic dialogue development. The conference theme is "DSOs Boosting the Global Energy Transition: Investments and Resilience to Overcome the Pandemic Aftermath".
The Board of Directors of Rosseti, PJSC has entrusted Andrey Ryumin, who previously headed Rosseti Lenenergo, with the duties of the company's Director General.
The launching ceremony was held in the video conference mode with the participation of Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of Rosseti, Natalia Komarova and Oleg Kuvshinnikov, Heads of the regions, Alexander Trembitsky, and Sergey Kharlashkin, Vice-Governors, as well as the Heads of Rosseti Tyumen, Rosseti Kuban, Rosseti North-West, Rosseti Lenenergo.
Working in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic became one of the central topics of the meeting between Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of Rosseti, Larisa Romanovskaya, First Deputy Head of the company, with Yury Ofitserov, Chairman of the Public Organization All-Russian Electro-Trade Union, and Arkadiy Zamoskovny, President of the ERA of Russia Association.
The document was signed by Pavel Livinskiy, Director General, PJSC Rosseti, German Gref, President of Sberbank, Valeriy Radaev, Governor of the Saratov Region, Roman Busargin, Head of the Regional Government. The ceremony was attended by Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The Parties agreed to cooperate within the framework of Sberbank's Data Processing Centre (DPC) development in the Balakovo municipal district as part of the special economic zone.
The video conference was attended by Nenad Popović, Minister of the Republic of Serbia, who was recently appointed the new Co-Chairman of the Russian-Serbian Intergovernmental Committee for Economic Cooperation.
The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the First Eurasian Congress in Moscow. The agreement is aimed at enhancing international cooperation and developing foreign economic activity, including implementation of projects in the power sector in the EDB member countries – Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
