According to the performance of “Rostovenergo” branch of “IDGC of the South” JSC in the first half year period, the branch complies with the plan of actual volume of repair work for 2011. “Rostovenergo” have succeeded in repair of 24 substations, voltage of which is 35-110 kV, of more than 520 km of 35-110 kV overhead transmission lines, about 950 km of 0.4-10 kV overhead transmission lines and 348 transformer substations; more than 50 ha of forest corridor beneath overhead transmission lines have been cleared as well.
Specifically, specialists of “Rostovenergo” branch of “IDGC of the South” JSC have accomplished an integrated overhaul of 110 kV “Chebotovskaya” and 35 kV “Vladimirovskaya” substations located in north-eastern part of Rostov region and supplying power to essential facilities of social and urban infrastructure; the integrated overhaul was carried out within the framework of implementing the annual overhaul program.
Only in Northeast of Rostov region specialists of IDGC of the South have accomplished repair work at 15 substations of 35-11- kV voltage, which supply power to almost 60 settlements populated by more than 90 thous. people, in the first half of this year.
Successful fulfillment of the overhaul program makes it possible for “IDGC of the South” JSC to solve the problem of improving reliability of supply through the improvement of consumer supply quality and guarantees high grade readiness for autumn and winter period of peak load in 2011 – 2012.
