Pavel Livinskiy, head of Rosseti, reported to Alexander Novak, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, and Vladimir Yakushev, Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation, about the complete readiness of the electric power network for winter peak loads.
Despite of the difficult epidemiological situation, all the companies of Rosseti Group got ready ahead of schedule and carried out the scheduled activities on ensuring reliable operation of the networks in full.
About RUB 70 billion was allocated for the maintenance and repair in the current year.
The physical quantity of operations on the main nomenclature items have been the same or increased including repair of 45,191 km of overhead power lines (+8% year-to-year) and 613 transformers (+1%).
The equipment reserve is absolutely complete and the staff is fully ready for emergency recovery works (10,082 crews, 50,305 employees). The branches are equipped with all the required motor and special vehicles (24,721 items). Power grid companies have the reserves of 6,014 mobile power supply sources with the total capacity of 482.2 MW. 1,565 cooperation agreements with the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters, Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring of the Environment, road services and contracting entities were concluded.
‘The reliability indices at Rosseti have been improving for the third year in a row. Since 2017, the duration and frequency of disrupted transmission of electric power to the point of delivery have been reduced by 60% and 28%, respectively. The number of technological disturbances along with interrupted power supply occasions has been reduced by 52%,’ adds Pavel Livinskiy.
