Rosseti proved the best practices in the field of disclosure of information on sustainable development and corporate responsibility, taking a leading role in the corporate reporting indices “Responsibility and Openness” and “Vector of Sustainable Development” calculated by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP).
RSPP indices in the field of sustainable development have been compiled since 2014. RSPP evaluates the annual and social reports of the major Russian companies on key aspects in the field of ecology, social responsibility, corporate governance, and the degree of structure and completeness of disclosure of this information.
PJSC Rosseti has been a leader in the RSPP indices since 2017.
“The inclusion of PJSC Rosseti in the bases for calculations of Russian indices in the field of sustainable development once again confirms the correctness of the strategy chosen by the company to maintain a high level of corporate governance, social policy, environmental issues in accordance with international standards. We seek not only to pay special attention to the issues of sustainable development but also to disclose in detail our achievements in this area through corporate reporting,” commented Vladimir Furgalskiy, Deputy Director General for Corporate Governance of Rosseti.
RSPP indices are included in the international rating base in the field of sustainable development as Russian ESG indices. Starting from 2019, on the basis of the RSPP indices, Moscow Exchange has been calculating the stock indices of the same name, the calculation base of which will include the leading issuers of the RSPP indices.
