In the framework of the event "Russia-France Business Dialogue", held today at the SPIEF-2018, Director General of PJSC ROSSETI Mr. Pavel Livinskiy told the leaders of international and Russian business community about the holding's plans on digitization of the electric grid complex.
As Mr. Livinskiy noted in his speech, the energy infrastructure of Russia is on the way of a large-scale modernization.
"The creation of the smart electric power industry is an integral part of the work on digitalization of the country's economy, a task set by the President of Russia. "We must make a technological breakthrough in the electric grid complex", the head of ROSSETI stressed.
According to Mr. Livinskiy, the company welcomes and appreciates the open and constructive dialogue that has developed between ROSSETI and its French colleagues.
"In the development of top-level grid management systems we see a huge potential for localization of advanced and proven French technologies on the territory of Russia. As an example of effective cooperation, I would like to note the partnership with Schneider Electric Company in the field of joint implementation of the project of the power grid complex digitalization in the Tver region. In the future the positive experience obtained can be replicated in other regions of Russia," - said Director General of ROSSETI.
"Moreover, ROSSETI are ready not only to adapt the solutions proposed by foreign colleagues, but also basing on the domestic capacity of the largest industrial players such as the State Corporation Rostec, modify and export digital solutions to foreign markets", Mr. Livinskiy said, having emphasized that the digitalization of Russia is, in particular, a push for industrial growth, creation of new industries, additional jobs and new qualification requirements on the labour market.
"We have to implement all this in the near future. We are sure our production, research and development cooperation will continue gradually", noted ROSSETI's Director General as a conclusion.
