Within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), ROSSETI and Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University) of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Russia have entered into an agreement which involves cooperation in educational, scientific, academic and research, vocational training and retraining for the employees of ROSSETI Group of Companies. The document was signed by Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of PJSC ROSSETI, and Anatoliy Torkunov, Rector of MGIMO.
The collaboration between the company and the university implies cooperation in applied research on topical issues for ROSSETI including digital technologies in power industry.
The agreement entails the establishment of working and expert groups to develop proposals on the topical issues of long-term development of power industry.
It also involves arranging ROSSETI Group of Companies based internships for MGIMO students, professional retraining and advanced training for ROSSETI employees as well as research training for ROSSETI Group of Companies at MGIMO.
In turn, the University is to be developing curriculum and programs aimed at extensive training of professionals in power and electricity supply fields and to assist in selection of new staff among MGIMO graduates for the power company.
