Rosseti will once again serve as organizer of the International Youth Energy Forum (MMF – IYEF), which is scheduled to take place in St. Petersburg on 13-17 June. Teams representing the national power companies of Russia, France, China, Belarus and Germany will travel to the Northern Capital to participate in the forum final.
MMF-2016 is devoted to integrated development. The forum is expected to result in a working prototype of a universal system for interaction between consumers and grids ready for pilot-project launch in participating team countries.
Since April 2016, the special MMF portal has been supporting the distance work of forum participants. On 17 May, the young specialists will visit Moscow, where they will discuss implementation of the project together with residents of the Skolkovo Foundation. Trips have also been planned for MMF participants to Germany (Bavaria), and at the final stage – to St. Petersburg. This year, the teams will be made up of representatives of the different countries according to functional attribute: technologies, finances, markets. For the purposes of preserving the innovations of years past, the forum will feature a so-called project office, staffed by the best team participants from MMF-2015.
The work done by the teams from different countries will ultimately result in participation in the roundtable hosted by PJSC Rosseti at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2016.
