Within the upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2015) JSC Rosseti will hold a round table on the development of electric power industry. This year's event was called 'Energy integration of Europe, Russia and Asia - unlimited opportunities' and will be devoted to strengthening the multilateral relations between the Eurasian energy companies in construction of new trans-boundary power grids sectors.
It is planned that the event will be attended by representatives of the Russian Ministry of Energy, the World Energy Council, the governments of Turkey, Italy, Chile, Argentina and Iran, by the heads of major Russian and foreign distribution companies, electrical and technical equipment manufacturers and financial institutions.
During the discussion, the participants will try to find solutions for the problems standing in the way of integration of national electric power systems, aimed at the improvement of economic efficiency of power grids sectors.
At the round table, a number of important issues will be raised:
Which existing infrastructural, managerial, technological, HR-connected and geopolitical obstacles for energy integration are most serious ones?
What is the role of scientific and technological progress in the development of new areas of integration, and what are the roles of the state and private business?
Which regions are considered most promising ones in terms of potential energy integration?
Experts in energy industry, representatives of the business community and mass media are invited to participate in the discussion.
