Public Joint-Stock Company Interregional Distribution Grid Company of Center and Volga Region, a subsidiary of PJSC "Russian Grids" is the main provider of electricity transmission and electric grid connection services in the Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan, Tula Regions, as well as the Republic of Mari El and Udmurt Republic.

IDGC of Center and Volga Region, PJSC (before 2015, it was IDGC of Center and Volga Region, JSC) was registered in Nizhny Novgorod on June 28, 2007.

The company’s area of responsibility is 408 thous. km with the population of 13 mn people. The number of employees is nearby 23 thous. people.

IDGC of Center and Volga Region, PJSC manages more than 267 thous. km of overhead and cable power lines, over 1.5 thous. substations of 35-220 kV, and nearby 61 thous. transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV. The total capacity of these substations exceeds 41 thous. MVA.

During the years of its operation, the company has taken a strong position in the energy industry, and significantly increased the level of power supply quality for consumers in the territory of nine attended regions.

As from 2007, the utility has built more than 14 thous. km of power lines; 15 substations of 35-110 kV; more than 2 thous. transformer and distribution substations of 6-10/0.4 kV. The total installed capacity exceeds 5,000 MVA.

The investment attractiveness of the energy company is explained by the tariff formation performed according to the RAB method regulation; stable financial indices, high performance of the company; experienced team of professionals.

In 2008, the management system of IDGC of Center and Volga Region passed certification for compliance with the international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, which indicates the effectiveness of the company’s quality management policy, occupational health and safety, and environmental protection.

In 2012, the company received a certificate of compliance with international standard ISO 50001.
In 2014, within the framework of the work in the field of the development and improvement of the Integrated Management System, the company passed the certification audit by way of confirming successfully the compliance of the management processes and provision of electricity transmission and distribution services, grid connection of consumers with the requirements of these standards and by way of extending the scope of certification to all branches.

On March 12, 2014, IDGC of Center and Volga Region was awarded the corporate governance rating 8 "Advanced corporate governance practice."
